It’s early this morning, but I’m still buzzing off what happened last night. At our first vision meeting for Eternity, we had 17 people attend and I am so stoked about how it went.
I basically shared the vision, mission, values and story of how Eternity has come to be a reality and then we had some time to just talk and answer some questions that folks had. There were great questions asked and I felt like the folks who were present were excited about what they were hearing. There was a great spirit in the room and I feel like it was a fantastic official beginning.
Afterwards, I got to hang out with a couple of the families that attended and we just had a great time of decompressing the meeting and talking about what following Jesus looks like and what are some of the things that may define us a church.
I have to tell you that I can’t believe God is actually doing this. It’s amazing. We haven’t been in Jefferson City a week yet, and already God is doing amazing things. We haven’t even begun yet. It was good to talk about vision last night. It was good to share what God has been doing in me over the last twelve months. It was great to feel like I’m right where God has prepared me to be over the last 31 years.
I grow more and more confident each day that God is going to use Eternity in a powerful way and that we are going to see things that will amaze us and that we wouldn’t have believed if someone would have actually told us they would happen.
It was an amazing day.
