I was reading CJ Mahaney’s blog this morning which led me to purchase the Live CD from this past years Together For The Gospel Conference…and as I was listening through some of the previews they have for the songs on the CD, I was particularly struck by In Christ Alone this morning…the first verse is powerful and are good words to ponder this weekend:

In Christ alone my hope is found;
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My comforter, my all in all—
Here in the love of Christ I stand.
