I spoke last night at a friend’s church and the topic was “Cultivating Gospel Relationships“. As I prepared for the talk last night I surmised that there primarily three reasons why we don’t have deep friendships with lost people where we are advancing the Gospel in the relationship:

  1. We don’t understand the worth of who they are.
  2. We don’t want to.
  3. We don’t know who we are.

Now, you may think that’s oversimplifying, but I don’t think the reasons for our lack of evangelistic labor are all that complex. I’ll be expounding on these reasons this week…
